Venti
Venti is a character cosplay from GEnshin Impact, Genshin Impact is owned by the MiHoYo Company.
Cape
The cape is crafted from two retired bed sheets. The patern was draped using large pieces of paper and then cut from the fabric. The cape is three sections, top, left and right bottoms.
Stay stiches were added to the folds to keep the folds from coming out to give the 'perpetual wind' effect. The designs were painted on after the cape was sewn. Two snaps were added to the shoulders of the cape to allow it to be attached directly to the shirt.
Shirt
The shirt is made of a white polycotton fabric. The shirt was made by draping with large papers. The pleated front details each claimed 1.5" of extra fabric and are exact to the in game version of the shirt. The sleeves have fake buttons and two skirt-bar-and-hooks to allow the user to put in on by themselves.
Pumpkin Shorts
The shorts are made of more of the cape's teal fabric. They were draped using extra cape lining fabric. The side detail was modified slightly fron the original in game design to allow a secret pocket to be added. Elastic was added to the waist band and the legs to allow more confort then traditional closures.
Leggings
The leggings were purchased. They are white textured leggings. The patern was dyed into them by brushing dye into the correct spots.
Finished
The final look debuted at Cosplacon 2022 and in total took 6 days of work.
