Skekmal Armor

Skekmal is a character from The Dark Crystal, Skekmal is owned by Universal Entertainment

This page is an overview of the creation of his armor so far.

The fur shoulder panels are created out of plarn.

Plarn is the short name of plastic yarn, a year made of plastic store bags.

They are stripped down into loops that are tied together creating a long string

that is crocheted into a panel for each side.

Brown acrylic yarn is pulled through the crochet loops and glued on the back to hold them.

the ends of the brown yarn is frayed to remove uniformity.

The bone armor is made of EVA foam and air dry foam clay. It is currently under construction.
