Flesh Stool
The flesh stool was built for a properties construction course for the prompt, build a stool from this drafting.
The design decisions and final product were left up to the student to decide.
Thusly the flesh stool was born.
Stool Built
The stool is built according to a drafting given to the class members,
each leg has a 20 degree tilt as requested.

First Layer Paints
The stool has a single light tan aplied to the whole body,
Red lines are drawn across sections of the stool to later become seams
black lines are drawn crossing the red lines to be stitches
Detail Paints
Three faces are painted in spots on the stool
Maroon sponging is added around the red lines of the last paint layer
green and purples are sponged in some of the joins of the wood to appear bruised.
Upholstery
Upholstery foam is added to the top
Muslin is pulled over to secure it
the muslin is painted with a watered-down version of the skin tone
red lines are drawn across and maroon is sponges around them
black thread is hand stitched over the red lines.
water mark on surface is not visible on final product
The Secret
During the process of building the stool I toyed with adding a practical to it as it had no limitation of what it could do besides needing to match the drafting.

I finally settled on it screaming when sat upon.
A button voice box was added into the upholstery foam under the muslin and is not visible from the outside.
